Its polymers are used in a wide range of applications including water treatment chemicals, oilfield chemicals, synthetic fiber, dyeing, absorbent coating, paper-making, biomedicine, magnetic material and cosmetics, etc.

Industrial water treatment:
Its copolymer with acrylic acid, acrylamides can be used as sludge dehydration agents, antiseptic agent in the water closed system, scale remover and scale inhibitor.

Oilfield chemicals:
AMPS monomer-containing polymers provide excellent high temperature stability, lubricity and friction reduction in a wide variety of drilling, stimulation and cementing fluids.

Coatings, Paint and Paper chemicals:
AMPS monomer-based emulsion polymers Intermediates for coatings and paints, scrub resistance, reduced grit and dispersant performance benefit the formulator as well as the consumer of the finished product. AMPS monomer-based polymers provide improved adhesion, superior rheology, and improved thermal and mechanical stability.

Personal care products:
AMPS monomer-containing polymers in personal care products may be used as thickeners, hair fixatives and conditioners, humectants, and to improve absorption and oxidative stability of other consumer products.

Synthetic fiber:
AMPS improve dye receptivity, tensile strength in finished fiber, antistatic and flame retardation.
