The use of polyacrylamide solution

Recently, there have been feedback from customers. When using polyacrylamide, it was found to be ineffective and deteriorated. After investigation and research by our company, it was found that the customer was improperly used. Special summary of several experiences for the reference of our customers and friends:

 

Storage: Long-term storage of polyacrylamide PAM solution will cause great changes in the viscosity of the product due to degradation. The polyacrylamide aqueous solution will slowly degrade during storage and the viscosity of the solution will decrease, especially in storage conditions. In the case of poor conditions, the change in viscosity of the solution will be larger and more pronounced. Therefore, we can minimize the viscosity change by improving the storage conditions of polyacrylamide! It is best to store the polyacrylamide solution to prevent exposure to sunlight. The ambient temperature is below 50>, and the storage time is not too long (within 5 hours). It is best to use it now. The role of machinery: When the polyacrylamide solution is configured, high-speed stirring of the solution will cause the polyacrylamide macromolecule to be broken, so that the molecular weight and flocculation ability of the polyacrylamide will be significantly reduced.

 

 Iron-containing compounds: The incorporation of iron-containing compounds (such as rust) into aqueous polyacrylamide solution will reduce the flocculation ability of the aqueous solution.
